Laura Hall Special Adviser

Laura Hall works as Special Adviser at Richard Vorisek Associates, bringing more than 30 years of retail and branding expertise to the firm, including developing and maximizing accessories for two giant global luxury brands. As an independent consultant, Laura’s more recent projects include launching the Dita Von Teese lingerie into the American market; a re-brand and launch of American luxury furniture brand, Chaddock; and strategic advisor for accessories for Karstadt Premium Stores in Germany.

Previously, Laura was President of Accessories at Ralph Lauren Corp., where she reengineered the company’s processes in design, merchandising, sales, and planning, and exceeded operating profit margins for two years. During this time, the company’s accessory wholesale margin was increased by 320 basis points in year one, and 210 basis points in year two. Laura also launched Lauren Ralph Lauren handbags/SLG in Fall 2010.

As Senior Vice President of Accessories at Burberry, Laura increased their accessories business from 18% to 34% of total volume, while overall volume doubled. Additionally, Laura executed a good/better/best strategy for core signature check, and developed key item best sellers for small leather goods which significantly reshaped this business.

During her time as Global Vice President of Fashion for DFS Group Ltd., LVMH’s $5 billion travel retail division, Laura managed the largest branded luxury fashion business in the world, and led an international team of 37 people. Laura used CPR (cost plus royalty) branded exclusive product to drive incremental sales and margin, and created a key item core replenishment sales and planning team.
